So, me and the main squeeze have decided that while he is at Grad School we are gonna save $20 a week so at the end of 2 years, we can celebrate his graduation with a vacation! But we weren’t sure how to actually save up the dough. I decided to make these little jars to store our cash! You can use them as memory jars, cash jars, flower vases, etc.
What you need:
- Mason Jars (you can use a recycled jar or go to Joanns for these smooth jars)
- Spray Paint
This is so simple. All you need to do is tape it up the way you want! Use ugly stickers or masking tape. If you are using a lid, make sure you tape over the lip of the jar.
Now start spraying once you have your outdoor station set up! Keep your spray can far back from the jar. And do a few coats!
Once they are dry, peel off the stickers and tape! And there you go! SO SIMPLE!!
Or you can add some paint pen effect, like the one below with a gold accent!
Start saving that money or keeping those flowers alive!
