Cake Batter Chocolate Cookies!

YUM! Who doesn’t love cookies that taste like brownies?! Here is a simple recipe for cookies that uses a cake box mix for the base of your batter!

What you’ll need:

  • Cake mix
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 2 eggs
  • Powdered sugar

Yields: 3 dozen cookies

First, start by preheating your oven to 350 degrees! Then in a large mixing bowl mix together all of your ingredients. At this time you could also add in m&ms, nuts, candy, etc.

Once all of your dough is mixed, in a separate bowl pour in a few cups of powdered sugar. You can also add in sprinkles or peppermint powder to your powdered sugar for more festive occasions!

Then scoop small balls of dough into your hands, roll them to create a good shape, then drop a few balls into the powdered sugar as seen below!

Toss the balls in the sugar a little to ensure all sides are covered! You should probably only do around 3 balls at a time. Then drop them onto your cookie sheet (which is NOT greased)!

Bake each tray for 10 minutes! Let them cool on a rack for a few minutes after coming out of the oven. Use excess powdered sugar to coat the cookies again. Then, enjoy!
